event description
The church as we know it is at a crossroads -.a crossroads between being the church that Jesus so emphatically talked about and lived during his sojourn in this world; and falling to the whims of a this world –a world and church that is broken, corrupt, and disparately in need of repair. If you are looking for answers to how the church got off track and how it can fulfill its great commission in sync with how Jesus imagined it – this is as good as starting place as any.
In “The Church and Community Engagement: A Heart for the People” Griot Kevin Russ takes a critical look at life, death, mission, message, and method of Yeshu (Jesus) and critically analyzes, dissects, deconstructs, and reconstructs “the gap between what Jesus actually lived taught and the traditions of the Christian church”.
